instagram profile
Later on we learned about social media personalities, and had to create an assignment from what we noticed from celebrities. On social media, many people want to be recognized for their aspirations and what they think is important, majority of people display these aspirations through their feed. By viewing a document we reviewed a few celebrities profiled and how they express themselves through what they post. We would take notes and use it for our own project. We were assigned to create our own "Instagram profile" and choose a few photos that would showcase how we wanted to be remembered by.
Google sheetsFor computer science we were given the assignment to work with google sheets. This being because in the days leading to it we as a class focused on multiple tutorials on how to learn the basic uses of google sheets. From this we were assigned to create a scenario where we would use the program by google to represent facts and gathered information as a receipt or data chart. In mine I focused on a movie outing ticket receipt that used the dynamics of the program through cells, using formulas and changing basic visual representation of it such as font, column/row size, and spacing.

the foundation of noleeThis year in computer science we were given the chance to learn more about the technology around us. With technology improving everyday, it is crucial for the larger side of society to understand how it works. For our first project we were assigned to create a data display chart about the different elements that shaped us into the person we are today. This was an exciting assignment because it gave us a chance to enhance our understanding of Google Sheets and how to use it properly. After we were finished with our display charts, we were required to present in front of all our peers. To explain what each section meant to us.
How to lie with statisticsWe learned different ways to influence people to think something by using statistics. Be careful to pay attention to the methods in the chapters given. We learned about four specific chapters that covered things such as omitting, truncating, conscious vs. unconscious bias group, proportional/not proportional graphs and using pictographs. We incorporated this information and applied to our ted talks. For David's class we had to turn in the brainstorm, the research and the creation.
